We are a hair salon and spa located at 13680 Southcove St.- a side street, near Kohl's, located off of the Lakeside Circle. We offer a variety of services for hair, nails, and skin. Also, offering a variety of professional hair care products such as: Moroccanoil, L'Oreal Professionel, Bed Head, TIGI, CatWalk, and Aquage.

I have to write a review about this salon because my experience there was so horrible. I went to stylist Renee Marie for a clear gloss, which means it has no color, it is clear for shine only. First of all, she made me wait 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time because she was running late w another client (aka double booking clients, which only benefits the sylist, not the client). She tried to talk me into getting highlights when I wasn't there for highlights. She was looking at her cell phone several times during my appointment, very unprofessional. She and her assistant were total chaos, going at my head at the same time w the product and not even applying it evenly. But worst of all they somehow turned my hair ORANGE w what was supposed to be a clear gloss. When I called to ask what happened, she had her assistant do all the talking. She couldn't explain what went wrong and said, "mistakes happen all the time in salons, people walk out of here w pink hair". Not only did this make me feel worse, it made her own salon look bad. The only thing they did right was refund me for their mistake. But I was also told I could come back in and have them try to fix it. I refused to go back to a stylist that somehow turned my hair orange by accident. Their mistake will take me a year or more to grow and tone out, which is the only option I have now. I have never colored my hair and now I have to to cover up the horrible orange color. I was told that they would leave 10 dollars at the front desk for me to refund me for a product that was recommended to fix the orange, which of course didn't work at all. When I went to get the 10 dollars, they told me they had no money for me and Renee Marie was extremely rude and very hostile. Shocking! I think people should know when things like this happen which is why I am sharing my story. Don't go to this salon if you want a good experience.
