This place is phenomenal!  We have been there several times.  The staff is always nice and on top of things.  I have just recently discovered that I like a variation of Long Island Ice Tea (discovered due to a previous visit here that the waitress talked to me about what I liked and that was the result).  I have been there twice since then and both waitress (a different waitress each time) accomadated me with a drink I loved.  Everything we have ordered has been great.  I highly recommend the fish dip.  Sounds gross, I know but trust me, it is awesome!  I have it every time!  If you are not into fish they also have one of the best pizzas I have had as well.  The place itself is beautiful.  You can sit on the enclosed porch that overlooks the Elk River.  If you are looking to make a day of it, bring your fishing!

We stopped in for a mid afternoon meal. The resort is somewhat remote along the beautiful Elk River. The restaurant, Ellie Maes,.is in the same building as the fly shop. There's a wonderful wall long bar and warm wooden floors and walls. The servers were friendly and accommodating. Our meal included trout harvested from holding ponds on the property. I'm usually not a big fan, bit it was delicious. I particually liked the bridge spanning a trout holding pond to gain access to the restaurant. I highly recommend dinner here.

The fishing is awesome and the restaurant and bar is great after a day of fishing. Also the people are great!

Friend knows owners. They were super friendly. Good food, I had the burger. Service was speedy. From what I saw they had cabins aplenty and fishing. There was a large catch and release stream
