One of the most breathtaking views on the Eastern side of the county. A gorgeous resort with lots of options when it comes to accommodations, plenty of fantastic places to eat, and an overall great place to relax and breathe. Also the perfect spot for a wedding or intimate elopement!

Lodging accommodations at Creekside were very nice. We had four families in our townhouse all quite comfortably. We did experience an unexplained loss of hot water on our departure day that had no real impact as everyone had showered after skiing the night before. Monday ski conditions were slushy due to above freezing temps but a large snowfall Monday night/Tuesday morning and single digit temps made for awesome powder skiing on Tuesday. There was some lift line wait on Monday but hardly any on Tuesday. A great time was had by all. Highly recommend Snowshoe.

Take a yearly trip here, for the last 12 years. It is unique to have mountain top lodging, restaurants, etc. Most places are ski in/ski out. The Junction restaurant is our favorite but there are several on the mountain. The village is such an awesome setting, to walk through and shop. Its rarely over crowded here as well and lift lines are usually short, except.for Saturdays and holidays, it can be packed. Also, pro tip, Top of the World for lodging, easy access with free parking, best prices on the mountain and ski in,/ski out at the top of widowmaker slope. There are green trails leading to and from as well. There is terrain here for every skill type, nice terrain parks, gentle to extreme slopes at the western territory, and great fast lifts as well. Highly recommend over any other resort in WV, been to them all.

You get typical East Coast icy conditions randomly so be prepared for ice. Snowy conditions? Never seen em here. That being said, since they can't control the weather, oh well! Nice cabins, nice atmosphere and employees. However, as with any resort place, things are INCREDIBLY overpriced!! $30 for a simple pizza with cheese and tomato...guys, $30......

So, I wanted to drop a quick note to the management at Top of the World (Front Desk Services). I came in last night and checked in. This morning, on my first run, one of the lift operators informed me that my pass would not scan and that I would have to go to The Depot to get a new one. Not a problem. Until I got to The Depot and there was a line out the door. I did not want to wait in that line to get out on the slope. It would have taken forever. So, I tried Top of the World- Rentals, but the line there was crazy long... As a last resort, I went to the front desk. I told them that the pass was brand new, but would not scan. They took a look at it, scanned my receipt and the stub from the original pass, and reissued the pass. Fabulous service! I felt like they took my concern seriously and did everything they could to make it work for me. I believe the clerks were Sherrie (West Virginia) and Mariana (Brazil) and they were awesome. Thanks!
