I was seeing a maternal and fetal medicine specialist for my high risk pregnancy and received the worst care at my last visit. I live over an hour from the hospital and was having symptoms of things not going well and asked to be admitted. I knew it was important given my condition that I be close to the hospital. I was 33 weeks and 3 days at that point. The doctors last words to me before I left were “It doesn’t matter anyways. If you’re not on the operating table when your water breaks, your baby will die anyway.” On my way home from the appointment, I started gushing blood. I was transported via ambulance to the nearest hospital. I lost over 80% of my total blood volume and during that 25minute ambulance ride, I had no idea if my baby was alive or not. I had an emergency c-section and both me and my baby almost died. Had I been admitted like I had asked, it would have been far less traumatic. No faith in ther MFM team.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to go to. The nurses and staff are very friendly! I recommend this hospital to everyone.

The Elliot is a busy urban hospital, but the staff made the experience AMAZING. Truly special people who clearly care deeply about what they do and helping their patients. So many people went above and beyond the call of duty to make my mom's and our family's experience comfortable and personal. The Golden Rule seems to prevail here, as we were treated like family during a tough time when we needed that TLC. Kudos to The Elliot for having a culture of compassion!

Would not even send my dog to this poor excuse of a hospital.

First experience here and by far the best pediatric emergency hospital I have ever been to everyone cared so much and was so nice I couldn't thank them enough
