Whenever we're in the area this is a must. The service and the ambience is outstanding.  Whether you are in the restaurant or the bar it's absolutely fantastic.  We always start with the calamari for and appetizer.  Off the charts. Next, chopped salad is phenomenal with homemade citrus dressing. Steaks melt in your mouth. We love Ellwood ! Don't miss it.

Cons:
Food was ridiculously over priced for the amount you receive.
This wouldn't of been such a problem if the food was cooked/ prepared good.
Steak not cooked to order it was either over cooked or under cooked.
Food wasn't anything special, you could honestly have made most of these meals at home.
Not sure if they have a restroom ( not clearly marked).
Pros:
Atmosphere was friendly.
Staff very attentive and knew the menu.
They ask you for any food allergies.
Love the minimal decorations.
Wheelchair accessible.
Chicken was amazing.
Wait time very short.

I really wanted to like this place. And will probably give them another try ( maybe it was an off night). I would have to go without my significant other because they were boiling in rage when we left from all the cons I mentioned. Might change my review then, but for now I'm sticking to my firm 2 star rating.

Overall Ellwood is nice. It’s beautifully decorated and the staff are very attentive. However, they have been making a lot of changes to the menu and one of those changes is the addition of a couple pasta dishes. 

Do not, under any circumstance, order the fettuccini Alfredo. The sauce is horrible and the pasta is mush. It is a huge disappointment because I’ve had several great meals at Ellwood. I would stick to the steaks. They do that well. NO PASTA!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great everything. Our server Juliette was so amazing. Friendly, happy, helpful and knowledgeable. Always there when we needed her.

We are not from this area and we were looking for a restaurant to eat dinner. Actually I goggled steak restaurants. We were very happy with the casual fine dining. The food was wonderful,  and the servers went above and beyond. What a nice surprise ♡. My husband is working in this area for a couple months and it's very likely we will be back.
