Story

Elm Square Oyster Co. is a Modern New England Eatery with a beautiful custom Oyster bar. Our menu is fun, fresh and exciting with our Chef Michael Sherman’s interpretation of “New” New England cuisine. We are a scratch kitchen - making all of our sauces, condiments, seasonings, etc from scratch. We work closely with local fishermen, farmers, distillers and brewers to provide a unique dining experience for our guests.

Behind the bar, we will embrace everything that is great about American craft beverages. Our bar will feature an extensive American Bourbon selection, American and imported wine list, small batch spirits & local craft beers from some of the best craftsmen in America.

We ordered the 5 course tasting menu and I have never been more satisfied by a dining experience. Everything was fresh and delicious. The meal was perfectly timed and portioned. Our server was personable and attentive. I can not say enough good things about Elm Square Oyster Co.

Every dish is creatively executed to pure perfection! Extremely nice and knowledgeable staff. The owner Matt really has great pride and love for the oyster industry. The restaurant is very cozy and beautiful!

A pretty solid dinning experience. I was here with 8 other people, at a round table on a Saturday night. Interior is very cozy and nice. We started with a bunch of appetizers, my favorites being the Chicken Liver Mousse, Smoked Trout Cannoli and the Lobster Bisque was also very good. They also gave some olive oil toast that were awesome. For main course I had the Ocean Trout and it was flawless, so tender you simply will not believe. For dessert I had the Poached Peach, but it was a bit not as I expected. The ice cream that came with it was amazing though.

Nice atmosphere and service. Great oysters! They have a happy hour special; oysters for $1.50 and usually one of their drafts discounted. You can stop off for a very satisfying snack for just silly money! They always have a good half dozen oyster types available. The menu is heavily seafood biased as you might expect. Some might find the portions to be small (this ain't the 99's), but it's quality and you have room left for desert.

The entrees have all been delicious. The portions tend to be on the smaller side, but still enough. They have a good wine list, but could stand to improve the cocktail selection. The drinks we had were all good, but this place seems like the kind of restaurant that would have an awesome cocktail list.
