Education Malaysia, Washington D.C promotes Malaysian higher education overseas as well as to seek international recognition and collaboration for Malaysian higher education programs. Subsequently, this action is in line with the Ministry of Education (MOE) to make the foreign representative in a more strategic role to support the aspiration of making Malaysia a global hub for higher education. In short, Education Malaysia will serve as a strategic organization and act as being one-stop center for all aspects of higher education to all interested groups abroad, including Malaysian students, international students, institutions of higher education either at home and abroad.

To internationalize Malaysian higher education through effective marketing programs and collaboration with overseas governments, agencies and educational institutions.
