I explained I wanted a wisdom tooth removal, they gave me a cost of $130. I was happy at first and paid it...after an x-ray they ask for $330 more for the actual removal. They never explained what my first payment was for, so it was implied that was for the entire thing.

DO NOT COME HERE if you care about quality dental work (especially root canal procedures) and dealing with extremely poor customer service. I really want others to know what they’re getting into before coming here. The 4 and 5 star reviews made me believe this was a legitimate place and I could trust the quality of work I would receive. In reality, it was the exact opposite. This is NOT an ENDODONTIST office, they’re simply a subpar general dental office franchise who markets themselves to be an emergency dental office specializing in root canals. Even if you think your regular dentist’s office is closed on the weekend, please call their office and listen to their emergency voicemail instructions - usually they will give you the option to dial your dentist to ask for their advice on your tooth pain before you make the mistake of coming to Emergency Dental USA like I did. My dentist told me he would have taken me in on Sunday if I had called, even if the office was closed, to treat my excruciating tooth pain. Dr. Khan was the dentist treating me and from the moment she sat me down to take x-rays, she was silent and conveyed a cold bedside manner. She almost brought me to tears multiple times by the way she was treating my tooth and she was silent the whole time, not asking about my level of comfort or if I was experiencing any pain during treatment. They don't use rubber dams to separate the infected tooth from the rest of the mouth (unsanitary and can lead to infection). They don't use microscopes to detect any hidden canals, which provide absolute reassurance of performing a proper root canal. Because of their lack of modern dental technology, Dr. Khan was unable to locate a 4th canal in my tooth and did not complete the root canal procedure. Instead, she only performed a pulpectomy and referred me to a specialist endodontist to complete the procedure. When the endodontist's office tried billing my insurance for the root canal, their claim was denied because Emergency Dental USA was already paid for that benefit. They filed a claim with the full root canal procedure code when it was not performed. That is fraud. Worst of all, the office manager, Minika, constantly lied for 2-3 months saying she was taking care of it when she hadn't contacted my insurance at all. I would call my insurance to get status updates on the claim resubmission and they would consistently tell me nothing was submitted from my dental office. I asked Minika to provide me with the documentation that she submitted to my insurance and she said there was no documentation and a verbal resubmission was accepted. Except my insurance specifically told me which documents were needed to process the claim resubmission and she didn't have any of those records and refused to provide me with proof of submission. When I asked her why she wasn't properly taking care of this, she responded with condescending remarks such as, "sorry, wait, not sorry" and when I asked her for the corporate phone number, she refused to provide it to me and responded with, "why don't you just Google it?" I asked her for her supervisor's name and phone number COUNTLESS times and she told me her supervisor did not approve of her giving her information out. I told her I was going to stop by the office in person to get this issue resolved once and for all. Her response? “Okay but you’ll have to sit here until 9pm when I’m finished with the patients in the office.” Just absolutely insensitive and disrespectful customer service, especially coming from the office manager. The amount of wasted time and frustration experienced with this whole situation is seriously mind boggling. I finally took matters into my own hands and wrote detailed letters of explanation to my insurance and credit card company, along with supporting documentation. They took my side and refunded me the overcharged amount/correctly filed the claim. Moral of the story: learn from my mistake and do not come to Emergency Dental USA.

Dr. Ninh and his staff were so wonderful and stayed late one night to care for our son with a dental emergency after a bad fall. I HIGHLY recommend them for their patience, dedication, and compassion. We had so many questions for Dr. Ninh to make sure we were doing the right thing for our son and despite the fact that it was past their 9pm closing hours, he patiently answered all of our questions. Thank you, emergency dental USA!

I was in D.C. on business and accidentally dislodged, chewed, and swallowed a veneer from a bottom front tooth. Dr. Abady was incredibly skilled in creating a new composite veneer that blended perfectly with the other teeth. I am very grateful for the kindness of Dr. Abady and Monica the office manager.
