Monday- Friday 6:00 pm- 7:00 am
24 hours on weekends & holidays.
Our goal at Emergency Pet Care is to provide compassionate and quality medicine to your pet in times of emergent need. We hope to provide support to referring veterinarians throughout the community and surrounding cities by being available to care for your pet after normal business hours.

The staff is wonderful! We are from Gadsden we drove 45 minutes to this animal hospital because they were the only ones open. My dog got attacked and the dr was vet patient and nice !! She gave us so many options but it all boiled down to us having to put our rowdy down! I highly recommend this place ! Very sweet people!

I took my dog there last Saturday and had to say goodbye to him. The Dr and staff was so kind and wonderful. Thank you all so much.i stayed with toby till .his last breath . Dr. let me hold him as he did whAt he needed to do. All toby saw was me .he did not have to be afraid. He was my baby and I miss him so much.rnbhill531@aol

I called and took a dog in that had been hit by a car. Not my car or my dog but it was obviously a pet of someone's in the neighborhood. Tech/Receptionist was extremely kind and helpful but wasn't impressed with the vet. I paid for an exam and pain meds to hold the dog over until morning so I could find the owner. Being retired I have to stay on budget. I was never offered any type of budget plan or Care credit or I might have had more done for the dog. Thank goodness I found the owners this morning and the pup is off to see another vet. The vet seemed not to care. It's just an observation. I will most likely use them again if the need arises if something of this nature ever happens again. I'm hope it's a better experience next time.

Called to make sure they were open, was asked what the problem was with my pet after explaining I ask if they could bill me. Was told no that it was 80 dollars office visit up front and then the vet would see my dog and give me an estimate then i could decide what i could afford for them to do. I ask what they did when a life and death emergency came in and was told that the owner could relinquish the animal and pay 25 dollars and then they'd do something. Thats so sad.. I won't be using this vet.

We ultimately lost our puppy, but our experience with the staff here was very positive. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and respectful, and while we hope to never have to come back with another pet, it's a comfort knowing that they'll be in good hands.
