This is my first review ever on any site. Emerus presents itself as an Urgent Care, however, for billing purposes, categorizes themselves as a "Hospital". Thus they charge as much, or more, than an actual Hospital ER. Why the heck would a patient go here over Methodist is crazy. This is truly a scam to target those looking for immediate medical care. For those saying they got good service - we did too.... but I've received similar care at other Urgent Care that cost $200... not a total of $3000.

Was charged $350 for a simple hand x ray.This shouldn't have been more than $150 at the most. This place is a complet rip off. Avoid!!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Inpatient Unit where my mother-in-law was a recent Hospice patient. Emerus was responsible for the 24 hour care, while the Hospice Team came in and ordered the medication. The Nurses and Doctors there are familiar with Hospice care. They were caring and supportive of our family who was struggling to say good bye to our beloved family member. They could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend if you are in a place where death is close and you need a safe, clean, caring place for your loved one.

If you are not dying, do not go to this place. We went to get prescription for pain killer (tooth pain), just a prescription. We spent 5 minutes there. I had to explain doctor which tooth was a problem, root canal was done recently. He could not find himself. He gave a prescription. Our insurance was charger for $1340 for these 5 minutes.

TERRIBLE!! The only good thing I can say about that place is the girl at the front was nice. The nurse was rude, the tech was even more rude and the physician seemed as though we were bothering him by being there and my gosh..we asked questions...dont do that or you'll get an eye roll. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT TO EMERUS SUGARLAND!
