It was 4:54pm on a Sunday when I got there with a flat tire. I use my bike to commute to work, in Dallas and every shop there would be closed when I arrived. RCC took me in, no questions asked, got me back on the road, and did it in a friendly, efficient manner. One of the best cycling shop experiences I've had.

Until today I would have given this shop 4-5 stars.  I have consistently given them business on parts and service so that I could have the small bike shop experience with people I trust.  This week I was let down in a big way.  I needed a bike packed and shipped out quickly.  My wife took the bike into RCC Monday and explained this, preferring to deal with them because of past successes on small things.  The guy behind the counter was unfamiliar and seemed to be unable to do the work himself, but assured her it would be shipped the next day (Tuesday).  Despite repeated attempts to call and get tracking numbers, confirm shipment, etc., she could not reach anyone at the store for the past 3 days.  Today she finds out the bike was not shipped and only received excuses for the trust.  Today RCC lost a customer and a fan.  When I really needed them, they didn't get it done.  When you run a business, that just can't happen.

Love, love, love these guys, this shop, everything about it. It isn't right in the middle of all the other shopping in town, but it's worth the 10 minute trip for the customer service you receive here. Plus the riding from this area is superlative. There's a MTB trail and a BMX track right in front & back of the shop, respectively, and there is always a group riding from there at one time or another. Just ask the guys there and they'll give you all the time and attention you'd like. Plus the prices are just plain better than just about anywhere else I've gone, and I've been to a lot of shops.
