Endurance House Sprint is a collaborative Triathlon between Endurance House Wichita Falls and Castaway Cove.

Story

Endurance House Sprint is a collaboration between Endurance House Wichita Falls and Castaway Cove.

Participants will start in the Lazy River at Castaway Cove for a 400m swim. Transition will take place in the east parking lot where participants will bike 12 miles followed by lacing up and running a 5k.

There will also be a kids portion broken into two age brackets with a total of four age groups. The 7-8, 9-10 ages will swim 100m, bike 5k and run 1k. 11-12, 13-15 will swim 200m, bike 10k and run 2k.

Medals will be given for 2 top finishers of each age group.

Proceeds for the event will benefit Streams and Valley as well as City of Wichita Falls Police and Fire Fighters. The event will take place May 15th and will be limited to 400 athletes.

Totally unprofessional!! I called in to check if they have a simple u brake for my bike. The girl wasn't sure, asked and told me to bring my bike in to ensure I'll get the right one. I loaded up my bike and got there. First thing I saw when I came in was a girl lying on one if the couches, not really willed to work and told me to unload my bike instead of giving me any information or even getting up. I did, placed it on the porch like she told me and came back in. Second girl told me to bring the bike in. OK, thanks for that. So I grabbed it again and brought it in - to be told they absolutely have no clue what a u brake is and I should leave my bike till a mechanic is back in on Monday.. Thanks for this information when I called in... These two girls working there on the weekends don't have any clue. Don't go there if you need something fixed on a weekend.

The service is absolutely incredible. I would highly suggest this place to look for your next shoes. Very clean and welcoming place to shop.

I needed to have my bike primed up to train for the Hotter'n Hell 100. It was in storage for 3 years so I called them to see how long it'd take to have it race-ready. I called on a Friday morning at 0900 and they said it'd be done by the end of the day. They said they'd call me when it was ready -- I never got a call. Tuesday rolls around and I call them to see if it was done -- it wasn't. I said ok CALL ME WHEN ITS READY, PLEASE. Friday rolls around and I call the manager to explain the situation. She told me the bike was actually ready to go since Tuesday and it was ready for pick up but I NEVER GOT THE CALL. I was pretty livid with the manager and she was understanding. 5 minutes after I got off the phone the mechanic calls me back and was pissed off because I spoke with the manager. He gave me excuses and didn't offer anything to compensate for the lack of service they were supposed to provide. So instead of being a 1 day turnaround, it took an entire week and I never got a call from them at any time with updates or a courtesy call when the bike was finished. A coworker of mine experienced the SAME EXACT THING so it is now a trend and needs to be corrected. I won't be going back until I hear that they've fixed their issues.
