Loved this place! We took our two young boys (ages 1 and almost 3), driving a couple hours from Frankfort, Kentucky. It was so worth the trip. We went during the "Everything Thomas" event, and both boys had a blast. Between the kids play area, the fun carnival-like attractions, and, of course, the amazing model trains, all four of us really enjoyed ourselves. The place is very lovely on the inside, with a village-type atmosphere, touting a cafe, gift shop, and really great hobby shop. The bird's-eye view you can get of the models was also pretty cool. There was so much going on. My oldest son was even interested in all the history and educational portions, since they're presented in such an interesting way. It went well beyond my expectations, and we will definitely be back, especially for Christmas.

This is an amazing to place to take your family. Everyone will enjoy their experience!!! From young to old! Definitely worth the money to buy an all day pass. You can come and go as you please. There's an indoor park with a climbing wall. I've never seen another train set up quite as amazing as this one. The fun house is entertainment for everyone!!!

This is without a doubt the greatest train display I've ever seen. It is all G scale with meticulous buildings decorating delightful scenes from the railroading's early days in the late 1800's through the 40s and 50s to the present day. There are interactive exhibits such as making a hot air balloon fly and hearing the accompanying noises of a sawmill, a factory, or a suburban scene. Everything is meticulous detailed with handmade buildings and delightful figurines all to scale. A history section tells the entire story of railroads in America and one corner even shows a video wall with famous train scenes from movies such as the circus train from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," the sleeping car shenannigans from "Some Like it Hot," and the entire "Great Train Robbery" movie from 1903. As if all that wasn't enough there is a mezzanine offering a 360 view of the whole layout, all three periods, and a nifty display of Coney Island along the river, where one can make the rides move (yes, including the Shooting Star roller coaster). If you like model train displays at all or want to show something delightful to your children, run don't walk to this venue. On top of everything, their admission and hobby shop prices are very, very reasonable! You will love it!

EnterTRAINment Junction was one of the highlights of my recent weekend trip to Cincinnati. This is the largest model train display in the world. I read a sign in one exhibit that estimated it would’ve cost $16 million to build, had it not been for the efforts of volunteers. I spent around 2.5 hours touring the journey from the 1800s to the modern day. 10/10.
