A great alternative for hiking compared to Presque isle. Secluded, great views, and trails that go on cliffs by the lake. The best park in Erie county to get out of the consumerist city and commune with nature instead.

Very basic trail which leads through some fields until a little bit of woods separates you from a few tiny overlooks.  Neat, if not that spectacular.

I knew before I went to Erie Bluffs that it sat right on the shore of Lake Erie... that didn't prepare me for how the lake kind of surprises you the first time you see it from the small overlook. When i visited, the park was still in it's early stages of development... I just hope that they don't do too much to change it's raw beauty.
