I'm Greek-American and have had more than my fair share of Greek food in my time. Between eating my parents' cooking and indulging in more specific cuisine on trips abroad to visit extended family, I've developed something of a refined taste for Greek food. While Ethos caters more to those who are familiar with Americanized Greek cuisine, the dishes they serve that resonate with my experiences as a Greek person are very good. They don't seem to take risks with established dishes for gimmick appeal, which is always great when you're eating cultural food. When you order one of their meal platters, for example, you get something reminiscent of the plates you might be served in a less busy restaurant: the gyro meat, lamb, meatballs, lemon potato, and rice all have the flavors that I've come to love.

Ethos clearly knows what it's doing when it comes to adding a metropolitan spin to traditional Greek dishes, and the atmosphere of the restaurant reflects this. Since it's situated in the heart of the Promenade, there is plenty of space on the grounds outside the building to sit comfortably and enjoy a drink from the bar while waiting for a table. My only real issue with the restaurant is its nighttime atmosphere; by the time we were seated last time we ate there, it was well past sunset, and I felt the restaurant was lit inadequately for the angle it's going for.

Nitpicking aside, I think Ethos is pretty great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, sort of trendy place to eat.

Ive been here a few times and I refuse to get anything else but the Chicken Platter!! Bill was $13 bucks and I was stuffed!!! So delicious!! Great service!! Cant really speak for anything else on the menu but the chicken platter never fails! 5 stars

First time dinning at your restaurant and the food was  absolutely delicious. Will be my favorite restaurant to visit again from Virginia. The service was excellent!!!

Excellent! Both my husband and I had the garden salad with grilled zucchini, mushrooms and halloumi cheese topped with grilled bronzini fish.  One of the best entree salads I have had in a while. This fish was delicious.  Friendly wait staff. Def will be making this a regular luncheon spot .

My wife and I went there for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, we only waited 4 minutes to be Seated. The ambiance was magnificent. The service from the hostess to the server was impeccable. The food was delicious, I order the chicken lunch platter. It came with rice, potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, Greek yoghurt Dressing, 4 pitas and the chicken had a very unique flavor. Thumbs up. Price is very reasonable for the portions and the quality of food is excellent.I will come back soon.
