They deserve no stars but since that isn't a option they get one star. Ordered two chicken fried rice with extra vegetable to go. After driving 20 min back to work I was completely disappointed by what I got. To start off there wasn't extra vegetable, the rice was over cooked, and barely any chicken. I have picked up food from here many times. This time I had to throw the food away because there was no way of eating this. I called to complain and they wanted me to drive there and back to give me a replacement, 20 min each way. Asked to speak to a manager but apparently he was busy (20 min before the restaurant was empty, this was between lunch and dinner). Their luck I paid cash otherwise I would have called my credit card company to dispute the charge. I have been a customer for many years and they didn't care when I told them that they were losing a customer.

This place is VERY busy! Ans it's for a good reason. The food here is amazing. Especially  considering this is a buffet place. They make everything fresh and fast.  So with that being said, be prepared to wait if you don't come early.

Reviews have become a HUGE thing in the world today. From dining somewhere to having a service done, almost everyone reads reviews from the good to the ugly. Clearly Saito's in Coconut Creek does not care about the reviews that are posted as I have read through them all. To start, my coworkers and I order from here very frequently. May I add, there are always 4 or more of us ordering so the total is usually  a large amount. I'm not going to go into details about the exact situation that happened to me, but I will say I have NEVER been treated more poorly from anyone, let alone the "manager". I am a manager myself for a high end business and I am responsible for training our other managers, assistant managers, and other front desk personnel. That being said, I think its absolutely insane that this manager still has his job. I even called back to explain myself, which in life we owe NO ONE an explanation, however I felt like maybe he didn't understand what I was trying to say and I even apologized on my behalf. Again, he yelled at me and literally told me "that I have no idea what I'm even calling about, and do I still want my order or no". This is insane. I would be fired ON THE SPOT if I EVER talked to any customer like that. I really hope the owners of Saito's Coconut Creek start looking at their reviews and taking them seriously. At least 5 poor reviews just on your manager? Doesn't really show much for your customer service, or business.

I've are at Saito's about 6 times, the food is great and fairly priced for what you get. The service on the other hand is awful. Takes the waiter/waitress forever to notice you. Service is a big part of eating out and getting people to come back to the restaurant apparently they don't understand that.

They have Toro one week per month, which is difficult to find. Excellent sashimi! GREAT cucumber roll.
