Etta's Place Suites - is a Restored Historic home in downtown Friday Harbor, San Juan Islands with 3 vacation rental suites.
Etta Egeland, the last San Juan born person to own the home was a fifth generation islander and founder of the local Historical Museum. Etta's 122-year-old home located at 455 Argyle Avenue is part of the Old Argyle wagon trail. It was her home from the 1960's until her death at 105 years and 10 months in 2002.
Everyone on San Juan knew that if you needed a place to stay in Friday Harbor, Etta would provide you with shelter. This is why current owner Carol Anderson, named the home after her.
There are so many delightful stories to tell about Etta so remember do ask Carol to share them during your stay.
Etta's Place has two studios complete with kitchens, queen beds, private baths and entrance. Etta's and Archie's suites have living/sleeping areas. Both have comfortable furnishings and food prep/eating utensils - perfect for longer stays on the islands.
The third suite, a lovely queen room with fridge, coffee pot and microwave is perfect for shorter stays or for those who would like to eat out while here.
