Discovery Sea Kayak is simply amazing, they provide an experience several steps above competing companies at the same cost.  We saw other kayak tours in large groups with poor equipment and not so nice camping accommodations, and were very happy we did our homework and chose Discovery Sea Kayak.   

I can only echo what the other reviewers here have said, the guides are true professionals, the provided gear is high quality, the group size is small, and the food is incredible.  First night our guide Kelly made fresh paella on a camping stove.  N'uff said ;)

Eric was our guide on the tour around the west side of the island.  We were given excellent guidance on how to maneuver our two-man kayak. Eric is very knowledgeable, and personable with his acute love of our Eco system and enjoying the natural beauty of the islands. He was very hospitable to every need and questions we asked. He is what we call  a "Life Long Learner"  in education as he continues to read and share his knowledge to his guests on the water. 

Eric is a guide you must ask for to guide your sea kayak adventure :-)

Went on the three day discovery tour with 3 friends. The guide was great, food was way beyond expectations (more like glamping food), very enjoyable trip. The equipment is top notch and well maintained. Visited Jones Island and Stuart Island. Great sunset hike to Turn Point on Stuart Island, just breathtaking. Group size of 8 was perfect size.

I did the three day kayak trip. The guides went above and beyond to make it a good experience. The food was great. I've never had ceviche while camping before! They even wash your dishes for you. The paddling route was challenging but not too challenging and we did see harbor porpoises, seal pups and lots of birds.

Great guide. You may or may not see whales. Go because you want to kayak. We saw some harbour porpoises, bald eagles, cormorants, lots of jelly fish, bull whip kelp, and beautiful scenery.
