Your Polish experience in Trenton! Get ready for some amazing pastries and tasty rye bread. Tiramisu is in the refrigerated case. But also get ready to communicate with native polish speakers who are not savvy when interacting outside of their linguistic and cultural comfort zone. If you set some healthy and reasonable expectations, it could be really good, like it was for me.
December 2021 Small bakery and market offering numerous baked goods, meats, and prepackaged foods. I enjoyed the numerous, authentic Polish offerings available and the perogies we cooked up at home a few days later were very good. The Polish cookies were also a delight. Some prices were high but it's expected considering the goods aren't available just anywhere.
The service is very rude throwing bread down and money down. Accusing customer of 30+ years that I lead customers to another store. Arguing with a customer in a public place is unacceptable. I am disgusted with the treatment.
Many Eastern European Imported foods.My favorite is the Hungarian Paprika paste.Add it to soups and stews for flavor.
It was a clean well organized small store the bakery products were fresh. The customers were able to serve themselves easily. The cashier was able to ring up my purchase correctly & accurately. I will go back again. I will also recommend it to my friends. Sue Perez
Service was very good. I didn't get the polish donuts I went for as I got there too late. But the store owner did give me a loaf of fresh baked bread for my trouble. I ended up buying way more than I had planned for but I was not disappointed with my purchases.
Amazing food, really unfortunate they have horrible customer service skills. Having said that, I believe it's mainly due to, not speaking their language. Would have been 5 if I actually was acknowledged with proper etiquette and customer service.
It's very small, so little variety. Caters mostly to Polish people. The young clerk was not at all friendly. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. I will go there again. They won't accept credit cards for purchases under $25, so need to bring cash.
The best Rye bread you'll ever have, wgite Rye is fantastic. Made by Bronco himself.
I DON'T SEE ANYONE WITH GLOVES WHILE THEY SERVE YOU FOOD OR HANDLING MONEY. NO MASK ON EMPLOYEES FACE, JET YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONE. IN EMPLOYEE DOESN'T WEAR A FACE THEN ALL BREAD, MEAT, AND EVERYING THAT IS NOT AIR PACK IS A RICK OF BEING CONTAINED. You can get same products and different locations for less money. From simples pattes to cheese and milk. New place design makes it look like a old bar not a food store.
