This place is the BEST! The subs are off the hook! The bread and rolls delicious. They made my wedding cake chef's kiss. There's two down sides and both are due to its popularity. Street parking is horrific and you may have to wait in line for a while to order if they are busy. It's price you pay when you visit the best bakery/ deli in Trenton.
Italian peoples used to be the place to go for baked goods. I went the other day and spent a lot of money, unfortunately the pound cake I bought was stale, the couple pounds of cookies I spent almost $30 on were stale, the cherry cheese bread was mostly just bread. I wasted over $50 on stuff that wasn't even edible much less enjoyable. The only thing that didn't let me down was the cannolis. I got 6 of them and they were as good as the last time I got them years ago. I'll never buy the premade stuff again. I didn't realize how bad the quality had gotten, and right before Thanksgiving. It was a big let down. Not to mention the cursing from the employees and the Really rude service but that's Trenton.
They are nasty the staff will open a door to a refrigerator touch the cash register, give us stale bread served with much negative behaviors as possible. Especially the bald heaed older male. They make sandwiches like they hate the customers and the lunch meat. I paid $66.00 for that!
Great bread and rolls. Always enough friendly staff on hand. Parking has always been a bit of a problem. Most just double park in front of the store.
Stopped in for a vanilla cupcake. Their food baked goods are always on point. And they do amazing specialty items. So today I picked up my birthday cake. I can't say enough how much I love this store. I went in with an idea and their Baker brought it to life. She did an amazing job. I absolutely love my cake. But folks make sure you give them at least a week on specialty cake orders. MY FOREVER BAKERY!

Very nice service … but horrible tasting cupcakes. I ordered last minute cupcakes for the next day pre made. But I think they were already put on display before I bought them had to been for at least 4 days estimate time they looked beautiful but they tasted horrible. It was for a class bday party. I think I saw one kids shoot his in the trash like he was playing basketball. The class age was 4 and5 year olds they will eat anything with sugar in them at that age. But when I tasted one it automatically gave me that sour bread taste. I am low keyed embarrassed I just think if they been on display that long they should be trashed.I thought they were baked and that day. I think you guys should of been clear on how long they were sitting on display. I know in 1-2 days they still taste good anywhere after 3 is not eatable…. I felt as if I would of went to Walmart and bought their pre made cupcakes they would of been fresher. … But I guess last minute and desperate means sell pass freshness date.I have been a customer of IPB since 2009. I moved from Cumberland County and this had been my number one bakery since but I think this situation has changed my mind.. They were very expensive too $60 for 30 cupcakes……But they day was saved by a regular carvel cake. next time do not offer stale cupcakes too anyone for any reason.
Baked goods and hoagies! Long time lover of this place for the size and price of the hoagies here! But recently ordered a red velvet cake for a co worker and it was a smash! Thanks for always being the greatest bakery in Trenton!
Love this bakery I come out here from Ewing just to get my Italian seeded stick breads and torpedo rolls always soft and fresh and great price. They're the best!!!
Best place to get a hoagie! Have had Italian, turkey and regular Ham sandwiches. Best part is that there is a bakery in there too to grab snacks! My only complaint is that they need to have more people during lunch hour. A whole hour lunch is wasted while waiting to place an order or picking up after calling ahead. Other then that, never had bad service!
