Story

Eviama Life Spa was founded by Penny Ordway in 2001 as the region’s first and only green and sustainable spa. Our staff provides a broad range of spa treatments that help soothe, heal, and beautify the mind and body, including award-winning massage, organic facials, beneficial wraps, and outstanding waxing, with a menu of unique energy work. Some of our services include Reiki, guided meditation, vibrational therapies, Raindrop Technique, and Mayan spiritual healing. We present a whole picture approach to each and every client that considers life experience, temperament, self-esteem, health, environmental influences, and lifestyle. I was given a full body spa treatment for an hour as a birthday gift and it was honestly the worst massage i have received in a long time. i find it a little disturbing that the reviews spoke so highly of this spa. It was costly, cold and a painful massage. No music (without extra cost) no hot towels or rub down after the massage was over so we had to put our cloths back on with oil still on us. My GF and I were left with kinks in our back, there was no focus on areas that we had designated as "special spots." It felt as if we had paid a lot of money for warm tea and back pain. How can i pay $36 in chinatown for an hour long massege which includes oil, hot stones and towels, But EVIAMA is charging me $150 to catch a cold and a week's worth of back pain.

Eviama really takes the time to make you feel special and understand what you need from your massage therapy. Nicole and Becca were amazing along with all the massage therapists that have treated us! We will keep coming back. It's a two hour drive for us but it is THAT worth it!

This spa was just a delight. I found it online and chose it after trying four other places in philadelphia. The environment was very special, the staff was extremely efficient. Most significantly the massage was delicious. We will stick with the best in philadelphia...eviama.
