Obviously the person below has never worked in retail or customer service. Absolutely love this store and the employees. Edgar was very very helpful and basically ran to the moon and back for me. Normally, I dread going into stores because they're judgemental and give nasty looks as I walk by. But I feel very comfortable in Express.

One of the WORST exchange policies I have ever encountered. I bought a jacket online as a gift, but it was the wrong size. When we went to return it the sales associate, Tiffany, said it could be done for store credit since we did not have the receipt. Before a replacement/exchange had been found they sold our original jacket. When we went to see if we could have our store credit on a gift card they informed us of a store policy that would only allow an on the spot exchange (no gift card). About this time my mother came in with a sweater she bought as a gift. She had already exchanged it for the same sweater in a different color and had decided just to return it all together. When she went to return the sweater, with the receipt, Sales Lead, Felicia Harris, was not only rude and condescending she was completely unhelpful again telling my mother that even with the receipt she could only receive a same time in-store exchange (no gift card or refund). We decided to wait for their manager, JC, who ultimately was able to find a work around and refund my mother because she had the receipt. While still trying to straighten things out with the jacket I was treated rudely and JC insinuated that I had stolen the jacket saying, "sometimes people come in here and take things and then try to return them for cash." I was deeply offended. I will NEVER buy from express again. I sincerely hope that their district manager Heather Meathers is aware of the utterly unacceptable levels of customer service her staff exhibits.
