I loved using this facility! When I was first moving down to North Carolina, I needed a storage unit for my household items until I could secure an apartment. At the time I reserved the unit, I was living in Pittsburgh. The staff up the Pittsburgh location were very helpful in helping me secure my Durham unit ahead of me moving (you have to secure units in-store). They were very thorough explaining the contract and insurance and everything to me. Once I got down to my unit in Durham, it was a piece of cake and I was able to access it right away. The staff made my move out very easy as well. All in all, I am very pleased with this company and their facilities. Their facilities are climate controlled, well lite inside and out, and have dollies available for use in the elevators. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a storage facility. I know I'll be using them again!

We really appreciate the service with Extra Space! They are new in the area, I believe we had a BRAND NEW unit, which is nice. They were helpful in figuring out what space would work best for us. Very clean, great temperature control, and what seems like good security. I only wish there was a large trash can outside for tossing small trash. ALSO first month free, like FOR REAL free! No gimmicks, its AWESOME

First time renting storage and it was really easy. Facility was clean and kept a good temperature. Location was convenient. Staff took care of everything—no hassles. I would happily use this location again and would also recommend it to anyone looking for storage in downtown Durham. Make sure to check the web price and call to check for any specials.

I had a great experience here. Staff is very friendly and personable. I was also pleasantly surprised at how clean and well- kept the facility was. I would definitely recommend this place!
