Takes FOREVER to get in for an appointment. Months and months. So plan way ahead. Staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. Optomotrist was fine. Dispensing optician was not helpful at all therefore fewer star rating. I will be buying glasses after the exam I just had but with so many options including online choices, I won't be buying from Taos Eye Associates. She has the opportunity to make great customer service a real selling point. She was indifferent when I asked for assistance in finding an appropriately sized smaller frame, essentially saying "just look around". There are many others who will appreciate my business.

went in about a week ago to pick out my new prescription sunglasses. Sonia helped me find frames in my budget, was so helpful with me being indecisive, and my glasses came within a week  so happy with the service and quality of my frames and lenses. would def come again.

I have been surprised and amazed that I could ask three times about Anti-Reflective lenses on my recent eyeglasses prescription and was totally ignored by 3 different people. I expressly asked for the A-R lenses due to great difficulty with oncoming traffic at night. I even asserted that this was a serious matter of safety, both for me and for other drivers. I never received those lenses, and I am only allowed one pair of glasses on my plan. I was contacted once by Eye Associates, with a promise for a return call which I did not receive. Now, post-surgery, I am seeing black spots in my vision, which one doctor dismissively told me that it MIGHT be permanent. When asked about this deeply concerning issue on my follow up visit, the attending physician stated that he just didn't know. This is about my eyesight!!  And attempting to reach anyone where I live in Taos has become almost impossible -caveat emptor!

Staff are friendly, the doctor is super kind and soothing. Front desk staff, Helen, is patient even when I was grumpy about the paperwork.

Charging for the prescription $45 after the examination!  Unthinkable.  I paid for the examination.  The prescription should be included.

I have nothing but good things to say about the crew at Eye Associates.  Best, fastest and friendliest service every time I go into their office.  Adjustments on glasses is fast and they fix the problem.  Thanks You Eye Associates!

I made an appointment 6 weeks ago.  Went in for the exam today and I was not listed anywhere in their files.  Strike #1.  The place was small and dingy and overheated.  Strike #2.  No apology.  Strike #3. Go somewhere else.

Every one from the person scheduling the appointment to the receptionist to the assistant and the doctor were friendly, helpful and professional.

They NEVER answer the phone at the Taos office.  Extremely frustrating.
