I have been a client of Ezra for 1½ years. My wife was confined to bed or wheelchair and suffered from moderate Alzheimer’s Disease. Two knee replacements and a quadriceps repair left her in near-continuous pain, frequently extreme. Although I suffer from Parkinson’s Disease and have never fully recovered from cancer surgery in 2013, I was still my wife’s primary care-giver. Needless to say, we needed help. After diligent research I chose Ezra to provide home care for both my wife and myself. I couldn’t be happier! I fully concur with the other glowing testimonials. The entire staff is highly competent and truly caring. In particular, Rosa became our primary Aide. During my wife’s last few months, Rosa was the only person who could get her to laugh. Rosa accompanied her to doctors’ offices and drove me to some appointments as well. When my wife last went in to the hospital, the Emergency Department, Rosa came with us. My wife was dying and she only wanted to hold Rosa’s hand. Rosa stayed with us, holding my her hand until 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. My wife passed away a couple hours later. In another notable incident, I became very ill and needed medical care. In desperation I called Ezra. Rich Cincotta, Supervisor, personally came to assess the situation and help. Ultimately, he called an ambulance to take me to the hospital and arrange for Aides to stay with my wife 24 hours per day until I was released from the hospital a couple days later. Would I recommend them? I could not recommend them more highly. They are a super team and great people.

Our experience with Ezra Home Care has been positive in every way! Our sister-in-law, with progressive Alzheimer's disease and multiple physical health issues, has been in a local nursing home. Ezra Home Care has been with us on this challenging journey. The Ezra team, including Susan, Sophie, Sheila, Rich, and Alex, are all kind, involved people providing wonderful care for our sister-in-law and support for us. Their carefully-chosen caregivers give her personalized, loving attention, and often are aware of health changes to be communicated to the nursing home staff. All this has enriched her quality of life. Susan—always available with warm visits, monitoring our sister-in-law's needs as well as giving us wise, sympathetic advice—has been a good friend. Having had experience with other agencies, we recommend Ezra Home Care without reservation. Bunny and David

I strongly recommend EZRA for home care if you're in a situation where you need home care for your loved one. This was quite an experience for me as I am a physician and this was really my first time being on the other side. My husband/partner Bob of 33 years and I were faced with a devastating illness. After 5 mos in the hospital, he came home with hospice. I knew I needed help caring for him. I was very afraid of strangers in the home. I was an emotional wreck after watching the only person I’ve ever loved go thru 5 months of continued decline. First of all everyone at Ezra is empathetic, understanding, and patient. They really took the time to get know us in what we might need. Rich interviewed us and I’m sure he put a lot of thought into which providers would be a good match. Rich visited a couple of times a week to make sure everything was going smoothly. The other days he frequently called asking for feedback. Fortunately everything was great, but it was reassuring to know there was ample opportunity to voice any concerns. We had nearly around the clock care. Three different providers - Molly,Betty and Nasser. Each was different but all were caring and Bob and I immediately bonded with all of them. The personal care aspects were meticulous but they went above and beyond that. They knew he liked massages and whenever he felt anxious or in anyway not right, they knew how to make him feel better. When I got anxious or nervous they also took the time to reassure me. Our family and friends were often there and the Ezra people helped make them feel better as well. In fact one of them prepared a plate of hor'dreves for everyone. All of them helped with housework so we could all be free to enjoy Bob’s last days. Because of Ezra, Bob got all the comfort and care he needed and after 2 weeks, died comfortably, with dignity, surrounded by friends and family - including Ezra employees. I can truly say Bob had the type of death most of us can only wish for. I am not sure this would have been the case had not been for Rich, Molly, Betty and Nasser. There are a lot of agencies and individuals who do this type of work. I highly doubt any of them could give the level of care and security that I felt I was provided.

Wonderfully attentive service, highly knowledgeable staff in all fields. Everyone took extra care to make sure all our needs were met. Simple and consistent communication with all care providers left us feeling very secure and comfortable. Very professional and considerate services. Excellent management.

I used the services of Ezra Home Care over the three-month period of a medical treatment, when I required rides home and companionship following the treatments. I had a total of three caregivers - one once, one twice, and the third for the balance of the treatments. They were all excellent: punctual, friendly, respectful and helpful - one even cleaned my home! The third and longest-term caregiver, Mark, was truly outstanding. Mark possesses qualities that cannot be learned. In addition to the qualities I listed above, he is compassionate, funny and encouraging. Although I never looked forward to the medical treatments, I looked forward to the time I would spend with Mark, and even my dog appreciated his visits! Should I ever require caregiving in the future, I will definitely contact Ezra Home Care. I give them my highest recommendation.
