Rude and inconsiderate staff!! If you like hiking , do not go here! It's the biggest pain in the butt. The trail is maintained well but there is not much to look at while on it. I've reserved a back country site twice only to be told upon arrival that the boy scouts took my spot. No refund, no sorry, nothing. Screw this place. Don't waste your time and money coming here. if you like hiking you're better off walking on a treadmill. Place is a joke!!

I haven't stayed in this park for years and I must say for camping it's quiet and peaceful. Camp sites are not on top of each other and for the most are very accessible. I have a 30ft bumper pull and it was tight getting in some slots... they have several slots in area 5 for my size camper.. a few in area 2 but that area needs road repair very bad ! Beware pulling around that area!  I will come here again... close to home and a great get away.

I stayed in a cottage here at FDR state park last weekend and it was a great time. There’s a lot to see and take in. The cottage was very nice and very clean. The people there were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back as soon as possible!

Great campgrounds! Sites are not to close together. Bathrooms and showers are kept very clean! Amazing hiking trails through beautiful terrain!!

Great park. Stayed there one night in 25ft RV spot. Water and electric. Very peaceful and scenic. Definitely coming back here.
