The renovations are coming along great. I love that the restroom were redone and more of them were installed.

For the amount of money this city is worth. The iconic coal fueled trains are in despair. They have down most of the historic buildings. Just sad.

I don't live in Macon anymore and I'm very glad about that. We went back to Central City Park for the Cherry Blossom festival and we had a good time. The food vendors were quite decent and the games/rides were all at traveling-carnival standards. The grounds themselves were fine enough and for once, in Macon, we didn't get robbed, shot, or stabbed, so that was nice. It was a good visit, albeit unusual, to Macon.
