Have loved this theatre since 1980...almost 40 years of various upgrades (rocking chair seats), downgrades (if you consider the loss of single screen a downgrade), and maintenance (clean women's restrooms at all times...nice.)  The pricing is good, the management must try to hire local kids since I seem to recognize many of them from seeing them walk past my home on their way to and from Drake, and there is always a family selection.   It is my second favorite movie house in the area (especially as I can walk to it in 10 minutes).  (My favorite is Monte Rio, which is just too funky to believe.).

Great theater. Excellent incline = easy viewing. Comfy seats with retractable armrests with cup holder. Often shows popular movies in two screening rooms, making for lots of time options and less packed seating.
Great popcorn, relaxed staff, pretty good free parking. Near restaurants, book store and coffee places. Mellow neighborhood.

I can't little multiplex theater in downtown Fairfax. Five or six screens. Comfy chairs and decent sound. It's Fairfax, it's nicer Fairfax

Good seating, friendly staff. Temperature was about right. Sound level not too intense.
