Fairview Park is really more of a nature preserve. It is roughly 90% undeveloped.  The 10% that is developed include grass, trees parking off of Placentia Avenue, bathrooms and a few picnic benches. It is also the home of Harbor soaring society and radio control model Club. No gas engines allowed, electric or gliders only. Be sure to touch base with one of the locals before flying to be made aware of the rules, where to fly, where not to fly, Etc.

One of the best parks in oc in my opinion. Lots of short trails around the upper area of the park and mostly left in its natural state. The stairs towards the bluffs are great for a workout. A few benches for eating and one bathroom on top and one below the bluffs. One cool thing is that since it is a bluff facing the ocean there is usually enough wind to fly a kite.

Beautiful park with lots to see and hike or bike. Great trails for both. Good birding opportunities during beautiful sunrises and sets. It's a must see for anyone in OC

This is a nice place to go on a day hike. It's peaceful.  I fly model airplanes here.

Practice your bike skills or have a birthday party or play some football or lay on the ample spralling grass. Also a great place to access the Santa Ana River Trail from. Lots and lots of room to spread out here and even access to some marginal nature trails. Not my favorite place in OC but good for a quick spin or urban park day
