Story

Growing, Caring, Sharing to the Glory of God!


Planted in August of 1971, Faith Baptist Church in Vinemont has experienced a long and rich history over its almost 45 years of ministry. Since the beginning, Faith Baptist Church Vinemont has been engaged in ongoing and impactful mission work both locally and around the world, sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Faith Baptist is composed of individuals and families who have discovered meaning and purpose for living through a personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord. Some of us have been in this church for generations while some have just become a part of this congregation in recent weeks. Our common love for the Lord and commitment to partnering with Him in sharing the Gospel continues to bind us together.

God has worked powerfully in the past of this church, and we give thanks for the men and women of faith who laid the foundation on which we build. Today, we look forward with faith, believing in the continuing mission of the Church to go into the entire world and proclaim the Good News.

Mission

We exist to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, in love, unity and knowledge of God’s Holy word, to care for one another both physically and spiritually and to share the only hope we have, the gospel of Jesus Christ, with our families, our community and the nations to the Glory of God!
