This review is regarding mostly Farmshop's pastries. I also once had a breakfast burrito with sausage and eggs and I was pretty happy about it, it was fresh and tasty. I wish I can like Farmshop pastries better, since a few coffee shops in the city carry them. But both my visits to Farmshop ended up somewhat disappointing: the pastries just aren't great. The croissant lacks layers and is rather dry and soft, producing no flakes or buttery flavor. Similar soggy texture for the chocolate twist. The coconut Kouign Amann has an interesting sweet, spicy, citrusy taste, but it has little caramelization. Overall, I don't feel excited at all about Farmshop's pastries.
A very cute place to grab a quick bite or brunch. Has a cute market with top quality and unique items. Pastry is great coffee is ok. I have the Farmers classic and everything was great.
Tip top restaurant and market. Menu is on point, Super fresh and very creative! Pastries looked amazing, try the salty viennoiserie, worth it!
This is quite a cute little restaurant with some delicious plates. Great for sharing! Definitely try the duck.
very nice breakfast dishes and beautiful stores everywhere. def get the saffron latteFood: 5/5
This is my dream grocery store. Great assortment of eclectic grocery and market items. And the best part... both the hot bar and bakery have vegan options! We tried the roasted carrots, sweet potatoes, and chocolate chip cookie.
I love love this place! I always go there for breakfast in the mornings and it is always good. They have an egg dish with mushrooms that I highly recommend you give it a try. So so good! Vegetarian options: lots of veggy dishes to try Kid-friendliness: Yes Parking: Easy valet parking
Amazing mini-farmers market in the Brentwood Country Mart which is a small, open plaza. This place is a dream for gourmet food lovers! Farmshop has a section of vegetables, fruits and a deli for grocery shopping and another for ready-to-go meals. I loved all the options they had, everything was so tasty, healthy options, and friendly for vegans/vegetarians. The bakery has delicious cookies!!! Prices are average.
Wish I could give a better review, we had breakfast here and the French toast was very good. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast tremendously, our service was great and food was delicious. Afterward we picked up some pastures and cookies to enjoy later. I am allergic to peanuts so I got the cookie that was farthest from the peanut butter cookies in the case and looked at their online menu to confirm that the oatmeal cranberry cookie was peanut free. However when I ate it later that night I had an allergic reaction and went to the ER. This servers of a reaction for me means that I ate peanuts, not something that slightly came into contact with peanuts but something containing a lot of it. One bite of a cookie that had just touched a peanut butter cookie might be enough for me to take Benadryl but I went into full on anaphylactic shock and had to rush to the emergency room. There is no allergy warning on their website and it said that the cookie did not contain peanuts but it definitely did. Luckily I have insurance so only cost me about $20 in prescriptions but adding that onto the price of the cookie I can confidently say it was the most expensive I’ve ever had and was not worth the price. For such an expensive place to be so negligent is why it get s the one star from me, I’d expect it from a run down restaurant next to a mall with sears still in it but not a place charging over $20 for some French toast.
Very high prices in affluent Brentwood. Soft so so croissants, super expensive produce and cheese and $16 for a small bar of chocolate. But Country Mart a scene: Hollywood and Hollywood types, lots of spandex and pretentious affluence. Encouraged to go there by family. A west LA scene.
