Most of the time, I sing fatboys praise. Not tonight. My daughter ordered the chicken strips and the bacon/cheese fries. I ordered a simple grilled cheese. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. Several tables that came in behind us got theirs long before we did. The server said that she would add the fries from the chicken strip dinner to the order of bacon/cheese fries. The actual order had maybe a half order of fries, with cheese but no bacon which is part of the appetizer. We were brought bacon after she was done eating them straight out of the refrigerator, cold. A few weeks ago we went there but couldn't eat because we found hair in our food on 4 different occasions. Tonight was worse then that. I know not every time can be perfect, but come on! Forgetting bacon on the bacon/cheese fries, really?!

Needed to get lunch, so co driver and I Stopped at the truck stop close by. Smelled the BBQ and went on the hunt. Found Fat Boy about 1/4 mile away. We ate lunch there. Worth the hunt and money. I feel the menu priced accordingly. Good food is going to cost. But $25.00 for a t shirt, now that's pricey.

After a long day of traveling, my husband and I wanted to stop someplace to enjoy a great meal. We stopped at Fat Boys on recommendation from a friend. He ordered the two meat combo with Brisket and Ribs, sides of okra and onion rings. His ribs were so dried out and over-cooked that the meat was pastwy. He had to douse his ribs in ranch just to get the ribs down (because the BBQ sauce was overly sweet and tasted like a cheap knock off). The brisket was flavorless and also over cooked. Instead of tender, melt-in-your mouth brisket, it tasted like Grandmas dried, over cooked Sunday pot roast. I also had a two meat combo with catfish and pork loin. I started with the pork loin, which was doused in the dollar store BBQ sauce, but that was the most redeeming quality of the tough and dried leather slices being passed off as pork on my plate. The hush puppies were probably the best thing on either of our plates. My catfish was good and is the reason I'm even leaving a single star review. Fat Boys should stick to what they know--fried foods. After our disappointing meal, we hoped a good southern fried pie would be a morsel of redemption. Unfortunately, we were let down. The chocolate had zero flavor. It tasted like slightly sweetened goo stuffed inside a bland pastry. The total bill was over $40, which was much too expensive for the food quality. The restaurant boasted signs throughout the dining room regarding their opinions of complaints. Clearly the owners do not care if their customers are dissatisfied. However, it is also clear that most patrons do not know good food. We will never be back. We will stick to what we know, too. Which is good food.

Horrible barbecue sauce, ribs weren't fully cooked (should fall off the bone...had to tear it off and still couldn't get it off), asked for lean brisket and got mostly fat, sadly the best part of the meal were the sides which at least one was pre packaged...i have eaten all over the country and will not go there again. The tea was also decent.

The food was great. But they had a large order come in over the phone and we waited 43 mins for our food from the time we placed the order. Our lil waitress told us it was a big order of like 50 pieces of chicken and fish and it was a long time to cook!
