Fun laid back vibe. My boyfriend and I loved the ice shot tequilas spoiler alert: my boyfriend rang the bell, I didn’t all the food including chips and salsa tasted homemade and were outstanding! Getting there right as they opened was key to avoid massive crowds.
Came here for dinner my first night in town and had a great experience. Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food and drinks! I have a vegan and gluten free diet and enjoyed the chips and salsa, guacamole, and the mushroom taco without the cheese. We had the ice shot- it was a fun experience to ring the bell!
When i say it was CROWDED, it was indeed. We didn’t see a single soul to wait on us at our table for over 30 minutes. The margaritas were okay, but everyone enjoyed their food. If you can’t stand a crowd, i recommend a weekday visit.
Came here with my roommates on a Wednesday night so it was pretty quiet. The food was amazingggg! I had the pork/pineapple taco and the cod taco which were stuffed and delicious. They had the quesadilla and taquitos and loved their meals. We loved the chips and salsa!
The service was great but I wasn’t super impressed with the food. The mahi mahi taco was my favorite of the three I got. The spicy fried chicken was really disappointing, especially because I was the most excited for it. It just didn’t have enough flavor and was also most fried batter and not a lot of chicken. The salsas provided weren’t very good and the chips were meh. The nachos were a waste of money and I would definitely not get them again. I also didn’t love the vibe - it was too loud with blaring music, and too many people - but I know for others that might be exactly what they’re looking for! To each their own. I probably won’t be back but I’d recommend it to others for a fun tex mex spot on a weekend.
Great place that is always hoping! Plenty of bar games and a variety of bevero. Sometimes the line to get in can be long, but it will move quick. Make sure y just get a table. There are usually food trucks nearby and a variety of other bars, so an ideal location. The bouncers may be derogatory if they don't respect you.
I came here for the first time on my birthday and had a really disappointing experience. We were sat right under a speaker so we weren't able to talk the whole dinner unless we wanted to yell, not sure why the need to have the volume to that level. Our table was also in a pathway between the bar and other tables so it was constant traffic and getting bumped. Not to mention the group of ladies congregating right between our table and the bar where one of them was dancing to the music and making eyes at my boyfriend. I ordered 3 different tacos and they were all beyond spicy to the point of not being enjoyable at all. The raspberry frozen margarita was okay, very boozy though and I prefer a more subtle flavor experience. We tried to redeem my birthday dinner by ordering the churros but they were so incredibly dry it was like chewing sand. I couldn't swallow a bite without washing it down with some water. Overall, vibe was not my jam and food was fairly inedible. I gave two stars because our waitress was nice. But if a club like sports bar with food that sets your insides on fire is not your thing then I'd take a pass on this one.
It was CROWDED. Of course that was to be expected on a Saturday night. You will have to street park and walk to this restaurant. We parked about 3 blocks away and the walk was around 8 minutes. We were luckily able to secure a table right beside the DJ within 5 minutes where a waitress came by, cleaned the table and brought out some chips and salsa. It is self seating here and they do check IDs upon entering. Shared an order of the queso blanco which was delicious. Overall the atmosphere is very laidback and friendly. Had a great time here.
Paid $50 for me and a friend who didn’t like her food, I found a hair melted in with the cheese in my food, the music was so loud our table couldn’t hear each other, and our waitress was barely around. Embarrassing to have to review this for others to not go here it’s not a good vibe for out of town friends either. It was so promising when it first opened.
The atmosphere was very upbeat and fun to enjoy a few tequila cocktails like the Mexican old fashioned and Spicy Watermelon margarita. The tacos were great especially the pork and pineapple and the cod. Great service especially with the ice shot glasses. Excellent touches!
