The music was awesome. They only had 2 bartenders. Could have used 3. They take all the seats away after awhile. I think they should leave them in the outer room. The band room is standing/dancing room only! You will want to dance. The Lowdown Brass Band from Chicago had a unique, awesome sound that made you want to celebrate with them. This is mostly a younger crowd and that comes with specific behaviors. Definitely worth checking out. No masks being worn. No social distancing. Parking sucks. Larimer Street is closed for construction out front so you'll have to park and walk. Pretty good beer menu, drinks okay but ran out of ginger beer for Moscow Mules. Don't expect a copper cup here!!
Probably the best intimate music venue in Denver, and that's saying something. They always get bands that are JUST about to blow up. If you want to just be surrounded by people who love music and the band, this is the place for you. The staff here is absolutely the best too.
Glad to have stumbled upon this cavernous establishment. There's an epic contrast between the well lit front of the bar and dimly lit dance floor which makes for a great balance. Step out in the back patio for some fresh air and to socialize then continue with the party on the l dance floor. Superb sound system and lights add to the experience. Great crowd and awesome vibes.
went for Anees show last night. cute and intimate venue. a star off. the ladies bathroom could use a little cleaning.
Saw an amazing show, staff was great and super helpful and the show was great! Really appreciated that they had a nice outdoors area to get some fresh air and water available as well.
I was super excited for a show here but the venue was definitely over capacity in my opinion. You could hardly find a spot to stand in the main room. I ended up leaving early. I probably wouldn’t return when there are so many other venue options in Denver.
Nice small venue. Had to stand for the entire 2 hour concert.
This bar has shows! I haven't been able to see proper live music in so long! We decided to grab a drink here as we were on a waitlist for dinner somewhere else nearby bit after seeing that a show was going to be on we ended up coming back afterwards. The bar is small and they are limiting capacity due to covid which is always great to see but does mean you'd have to grab your tickets early. I do wish the drinks were a little cheaper. It would definitely encourage me to come back more often but taking it from a business owner perspective, you can only have so many people in at a time so it makes sense. I had to do a double take on my cheque when closing out the tab as it said $40 after only having 4 Coors Lights. They were happy to fix it up afterwards. A bit worrying, if I had drunk too much I would've paid regardless. It would be nice if the items purchased were on the receipt.
it’s nice and small which makes for some great intimate shows. the outdoor area is a great size and was perfect for some relief from the heat of everyone dancing. staff was pretty rude at the end of the night, though. they cut off the end of Sippy’s set and were pushing people out before 2am. one dude put his hands on one of the girls in my group to get her to go outside while we were all still inside talking to Sippy and when she told him not to put his hands on her, he tried to claim he just bumped into her. he didn’t do anything more after that to get us to move, but it was just incredibly unprofessional. It wasn’t even 2am, none of us had any alcohol, and we were having a conversation with the talent. It was just plain rude. we saw Sippy here on 10/14 and she was AWESOME. a night I won’t forget anytime soon.
Nice atmosphere. Bar crawl was the best and food trucks
