I LOVE Vicky who has cut and colored my hair many times. I call her the curl whisperer!:) Beth is also amazing, and the rest of the staff has been excellent, as well. I love the ladies and their experience in curls/hair, it allows me to sit back and let them do what they do!

The first time I waited over an hour for my appt even though I arrived on time. I was however extremely happy with my very first Devacut! My second visit started on time and equal results on cut and styling. Thank you Vicky!!

First off they let my dogs hang out while my husband and I get our curly hair cut. We've always gone to see Michelle and she's done a fabulous job. We have super curl hair and she's is most certainly up to date on her deva cutting ways. The down side is the parking situation so you should catch the Metro if you can.

If I could, I would rate my experience with this salon as a big fat ZERO! I was on a call list in case a particular stylist had a cancellation. I received a call at 1:30 pm informing me of an opening for 6 pm that same day. I initially accepted the appointment but LESS THAN one hour later had a change in my schedule so called the salon to reschedule. The first time, a male answered and immediately placed me on hold. After 10 mins I hung up. I then called again half an hour later. Same person answered and again immediately placed me on hold. He then returned a couple of mins later and no sooner had I apologetically told him I needed to cancel my appointment made barely an hour earlier, he curtly and rudely informed me that I may be charged a cancellation fee on my credit card because their policy requires a 24 hour cancellation. I then tried to explain, as was obvious, that I could not have possibly have given that much notice on an appointment that as made an hour prior!!! I asked to speak to the manager. He told me he WAS the manager!!!! He then told me it was up to the owner whether to charge me. Again, with lots of attitude And nastiness in his tone. To the owner: You do not want such a person as the first point of contact for your business. He did not know who I may have been. In any case you have lost a customer. I will not ever support your business and will discourage my friends and acquaintances from doing the same. Customer service is gold!

I never write reviews, so for me to get on here and actually review something is major. I had an amazing devacurl stylist when I lived in upstate New York who was amazing. I moved back to MAryland 2 years ago and have not been able to find someone who stays true to the devacut. I spent alot of money on what these salons said was a devacut, but was not at all. Elena was simply amazing! She asked me what I wanted and told me what would look good. I feel like too many stylists will give you what you want when they know it isnt the best option for you. Elena told me exactly what would look good and continued to tell me what she was doing throughout the entire process. She is an awesome job and my curls have sooo much more life now! I love my haircut and have found my new deva home.
