Excellent. has appointments or walk in convenience.  I've been going to either Vanessa (owner) or Eva for the past 15years.  Both great stylist. Professional, technically astute, pleasant Love them!  The whole staff in there is competent, versatile, all turn out beautiful hair cuts, styles, color, and at the same time educate the clients about their hair.  VSL has a great selection of fabulous hair products. The stylist all have a high level of skill and years of practice and knowledge.  The only drawer back in the loud, frenetic musak, otherwise, I highly recommend the VSL salon.   ANN IN DC.

Been coming here for about 6 months. Easy to get appts, best prices, excellent styling and cut, friendly. As good if not consistently better than any posh salon in DC, in my experience. Vilma and Lupe are great.
