A Minneapolis landmark location and also one of the best clubs to dance and see live performances. You can feel the history in that place! First Avenue is where ALL the club scenes from Prince's movie Purple Rain were filmed.. great venue, great views of downtown Minneapolis from THE MEN'S ROOM.. literally, the guy's bathroom has a great view, I'm just saying

One of the best venues in the country. Lots of history. The most professional staff in the business. The musicians almost always talk about how they love being at First Avenue when they're playing there.

The place has a history to it. If not for that history though, I doubt they would be able to book the acts they do. Without the quality of performers people probably wouldn't like going here nearly as much as they do. There are some silly policies in place that the staff blame on management. I'll go to see the acts performing, but know one of the only bartenders worth going to in the place.

Such a cool venue. It was chilly waiting outside for the doors to open, but so worth it! The staff was friendly and fast... the drink prices were reasonable... the bass was a little loud for my taste, but the show was amazing!

This is where Prince performed many times. It is at a great location and they have a lot of live entertainment here throughout the year.
