Their bananas foster was amazing. They being a cart out to your table and prep out right there, flames and all! Good sushi as well. Beer selection is sub par on the second floor. There is a better beer selection on the patio and first floor.

Yes! Love this place. The drinks are kinda pricey, but this place is a l upscale so you should expect to pay for it. Great atmosphere, love the variety of the floors and different music to listen to. Gorgeous views of downtown from the roof top since the bar/ club is located on a main street (Hennepin).

My girlfriend and I went to Seven after a Twins Game around 4:30 PM. We were celebrating the fact My brother threw out the first pitch and my Girlfriend finished her last Chemo treatment. We got a hotel and planned to make a day of it! We first went to the Seven's large Patio for a cocktail and an appetizer since they don't offer the full menu upstairs. We then decided that we would close out and head to the dining room to have a great meal and be able to actually hear our conversations. The same girlfriend and I went to Seven a few months ago and spent over $200 and had a wonderful time! Well... Not so much this time. They had two, the best way to describe them is from the movie "Mean Girls", proceed to tell us that they didn't have any menu's available . Snidely they stated that they would hate to have us sitting in the dining room without menus.?????? They directed us to the bar. They would not allow us to sit in the dining room. The dining room was completely empty! Maybe a table or three. The bartender looked confused when we explained what was happening. Bottom line- We were discriminated against for whatever reasoning by these two unprofessional "order takers". We had the same attire on as we did a few months back. Nice Jeans, cute tops. Downtown Minneapolis used to appeal to me. The Purple City that I loved. I will NEVER spend a dime at Seven or any other pretentious restaurant or Hotel EVER again...

Full-on identity crisis perfectly exemplifying why trying to please everyone will eventually please no one. Even the ridiculous full name says they don't know what they are. [edit: They've shortened the name since this was written.] I didn't even know daisy dukes were still a thing until I saw the 50-something milf in cowboy boots. Let's hear it for exorbitant prices but no dress code, eh? The upstairs lounge needs its own entrance. It's a shame you can call yourself a steakhouse and be so inept with them. I really expected more, especially after my last attempt at a medium rare one. Considering the $36, 8 oz comes with no sides and no sauce, imagine my shock when it was still raw inside. I mean not even a hint of pink. Blue. And cold, not even still warm from the attempt at a sear. I swear, I could get better grilled meat at a tailgate than some of these places. The only saving grace was the excellent server. I wouldn't hire the rest of these jokers to run a hot dog cart.
