I'm giving NO STARS to this CRAPPY bank, ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION @ KROGERS ON UNIVERSITY DRIVE! WORST BANK IN ALL OF DENTON!! What happened to me is that last week, as I started to approach the counter, there was a lady milling around right outside the bank on her cell phone. But when she was me heading to the counter, she darted up there to beat me, & the dopey hispanic guy employee up there very WIMPILY just let her-a black woman- stand there continuing her phone conversation, while I was standing in line. I was in a hurry, but he did not even look up from his computer screen, did not acknowledge me, NOTHING, & he knew I was standing there. So I had to just leave. This bank caters to blacks & mexicans, as I've experienced & witnessed many times before. This week, I went in to complain to a manager about the incident, the RUDE WAY I WAS MISTREATED, & the only management available was an assistant manager. So I told what happened, & told them I was gonna complain to upper management within first convenience bank outside the branch & post online negative reviews. Not much response was given as far as what they would do to deal with it. So I went in today to CLOSE MY ACCOUNT, & was waited on by the VERY RUDE OTHER ASSISTANT MANAGER, TYRA GOINS: SHE IS ALWAYS RUDE, NEVER SMILES, HAS ZERO PEOPLE SKILLS OR CUSTOMER SKILLS, SO HOW THE H*** SHE BECAME A MANAGER IS BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION.SHE DID NOT APOLOGIZE TO ME FOR THE RUDE WAY I WAS TREATED & DID NOT CARE AT ALL THAT I WAS CLOSING MY ACCOUNT. I SAID I WAS GONNA POST NEGATIVE ONLINE REVIEWS, & SHE DID NOT CARE!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK, ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION: THE SERVICE IS SUPER SLOW, LONG LINES, CANNOT MAKE ATM DEPOSITS, & RUDEST EMPLOYEES EVER, WORST CRAPPIN' BANK IN ALL OF DENTON!!!

ALWAYS A BAD EXPERIENCE. But today was awful. My fiance and I were the only ones standing in line for 10 minutes, while there were 3 associates behind the counter just talking. And then a woman came up and got in front of us and they helped her before they helped us. When we finally got to the counter, the woman who helped us was very unapproachable and just took our card, cashed our check and handed us the money. My fiance told her to have a nice day and she didn't respond. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. GO TO THE WALMART LOCATION.

Always have excellent customer service as well as knowledgeable and friendly staff. My last bank was full of incompetent @ss Holes and never felt appreciated by the staff. I am now and as far as I know, will always be a member of this bank. Thank you for all your hard work, I really do appreciate it very much!

They parked a sales guy outside the coinstar within Kroger. He wasn't wearing any kind of name tag or ID. This wouldn't be an issue, but they tried to make it sound like they could get you coinstar usage without the fees. What they *actually* did was pressure my roommate into opening a bank account that she did not need. They were unclear about what exactly was happening until paperwork was being filled out. This is misleading and added a solid 20 minutes to our errands. Yes, there are coinstar style machines at other stores that the unneeded account waives fees for, but they wound up taking about $50 of coins and counting them by hand instead of just telling us how it would work and letting us make an educated decision. We really just wanted to use the coinstar and then leave but the pushy sales guy didn't seem to take the hint that we weren't really here to open an account. If I were considering switching from Wells Fargo, I CERTAINLY wouldn't use a bank with such pushy sales staff. 0/10 won't be back. Not professional at all.
