Killington's favorite mom and pop ski, bike, and snowboard shop since 1979.

Story

When we first opened, we had 10 pairs of rental skis, a few hats and a dozen cookies.
Shortly after we brought in outwear, accessories, bicycles and snowboards.
Today, we carry thousands of items that are individually tested and carefully curated
by staff members, team riders, and loyal customers.

We’re proud to stock quality gear that is made to last both in style and durability.

Go to First Stop first! A friendly, family owned business whose employees will spend as much or as little time as you need to get you into comfortable, high quality ski equipment and back on the slopes! After wasting a lot of valuable ski time at a shop on the mountain that prides itself on years of business, I tried First Stop. They fit me with the type of boot I needed at a reasonable price and were willing to make any  adjustments necessary to get the best performance. Tune ups on our existing equipment were quick! A short drive down the mountain to get great equipment and service is worth it!

First Stop has become my family's "go to" shop for all our ski and snowboard gear.  Great gear selection.  They listen to what you need and don't try to under or oversell you.  The friendliest shop in Killington. Shop Small!  Thanks Randy & Family

This family owned business is amongst the best.  Customer service is friendly and very knowledgeable.  They take the time to outfit the individual skier's needs and ability.  The shop is well stocked for all levels of ability.  The ski rental department well equipped, including high end demo.  I didn't rent snowboards, but I assume equally stocked. Located close to Killington and Okemo. Prices are fair and much cheaper than mountain resort prices.  And the got mountain bikes too.

Best ski shop in Killington. Great service. Always get my board tuned sharpened and waxed at First Stop.
