Best bike shop in the northeast! Don't be surprised when you see how much inventory is actually in that store and how great it is to work with people who love bike s. Doon and company live to ride and will help you get going as well. Beginner or expert, you will feel at home here. Stop in, you won't be sorry you did.

My All-Time Favorite Bike Shop!!!  Doon and company are super friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do.  Their shop has a HUGE selection of used parts (they keep even the really junked stuff just in case you want that one good part off of it), as well as a lot of take-offs and new bikes/parts.  Superb customer service combined with a clear love for the sport make these guys great to do business with.  

Green Mountain Bicycles sells a lot of top-of-the-line mountain bikes, but they also stock used bikes and are happy to work on my (very) outdated machines - a huge contrast to my experience at some other (unnamed) shops I have been laughed at and told to "forget about fixing it, it's too !@#$ old."  

I recommend this shop without reservation, and stop in anytime I'm in the area.  Check it out - you won't be disappointed!

Dune and his guys are the best. I have purchased several bikes from GMB over the last decade+ and they ALWAYS give great personal service, very fair pricing and help get me what I need. Repairs, new bikes, helmets and trade ins- Support the local guys 30 years and going strong VT!

My wife and I rented two bikes here for an inn to inn tour.  We're from the Left Coast and we hadn't been here before.  DooN totally set us up with new Kona hybrids that rocked the awesome paved and hardpack dirt roads of this spectacular cycling paradise.  DooN helped us with our routes, delivered our bikes to our first inn, and picked them up at the end.   His bike shop, 30 years running, should be a mandatory stop on any tour.  It is amazing!   This shop has earned the superlative reviews that others have given.  For anything cycling, you gotta check these guys out.
