Rather fun place to be. If you have few friends or a large group doesn't matter. There is plenty of space. You can even reserve your spot in advance. Tables and barbecue pits are plenty. Come over and enjoy .

It was huge, with lots of different surfaces, great for birthdays or big events. I'm debating whether to give it 3 or 4 stars because the parks playground equipment was so hot (lack of overhead shading) and the sand wasn't that playable for little kids... But otherwise it was great,rather amazing.but if you plan to play in the sand, take toys .

So much room. Great place to hold family picnics. Perfect for kids birthday parties, baby showers or even adult parties.

Flood Park is relaxing but needs a lot of improvements. Hopefully the city of Menlo Park can do something to fix the tennis courts and restrooms

Good play area for kids and lots of bookable picnic areas for groups. Parking isn't free so be prepared.
