The goal at Floral Haven has always been to offer the finest and most complete selection of Cemetery, Funeral and Cremation options in the area.

Story

Floral Haven has a long history of serving the families of Green Country. The cemetery was officially rededicated as Floral Haven in 1952, on the grounds of the old Valhala Cemetery. With that rededication came a number of improvements, including the addition of white marble statuary, created specifically for Floral Haven in Italy. The 1970s saw additional improvements on the grounds and the addition of the Veterans Field of Honor with its display of bronze plaques with the Congressional Medal of Honor citations of all of Oklahoma’s recipients of this highest of Military Honors.

Floral Haven Funeral Home opened in 1990, offering the first complete funeral home, cemetery and floral shop in a single location in Green Country. The Family Reception Center, our own private Crematory and the Lakes and Estates of Reflection followed shortly thereafter. The Family Center was the first such reception center for after service gatherings in the state. Our crematory was a first in the areas, since it was designed with a lounge area for those families who wanted to be present during a loved one’s cremation. A few years ago, the Whispering Waters Cremation Garden and Ossuary expanded our cremation offerings, and we have since added several new cremation gardens and columbariums.

Our more recent additions include the new Courtyard Mausoleum complex, which will include five separate mausoleum structures and an additional chapel for the funeral home, when it is completed, and the Waterford Estates, a premium collection of lawn crypt properties along the waterway in the Lakeside Private Mausoleum Estates.

This goal continues to be fulfilled with additional capital reinvestment in our property. All of these elements are complemented with a caring staff of professionals dedicated to serving each families unique personal wishes and needs. Our never ending goal is to help each family create a truly personalized service and burial estate plan crafted to both their taste and budget.
