Gee, where do I start? This happened in 1991. I had gotten married the night before, and woke up with a tooth ache. Went to the old Florida Dental Center office, and had the tooth extracted. The old, ancient dentist gave me two antibiotic pills and sent me on my way. That night, my bride and I ate pizza with chili, and in the morning I was all swollen with white dots around the crater from the extraction. I returned to Florida Dental Center, and the old dentist looked in an started screaming as loud as he could YOU HAVE SARCOSA (whatever.... AIDS) he refused antibiotics for the chili burn. Two days later I was in Arkansas on my honeymoon and my wife took me to the President of the Arkansas dental association. He confirmed that I DID NOT HAVE ANY DISEASE - but I should not have eaten spicy pizza after extraction. He recommended I file against Florida Dental Center in Tampa and the dentist and ask for their licenses to be pulled. SINCE THEN TRAUMA - I have avoided dentists because they essentially, at these cheap clinics - hurt people, even destroy their lives. I am 71 years old now, have always been free of disease, and I hope this is a warning to dentists - don't traumatize patients with your fear based assumptions.  by Dr. Jay Polmar

I just had a tooth extraction done. When i was leaving i asked what should i do for pain the just said take ibuprofen no asprin. I called a few hours later because the pain was so bad and ibuprofen wasnt doing anything. The lady said the Dr had left for the day and there was notbing they could do for me. I now have to go to the hospital even though the office hours state until 530!!! Im sorry your patients do not mean anything to you. Not only that when i called the lady asked are you the one that asked about pain pills? No i was not thank you very much!!!!! I see how little you care for us. It is the weekend and i have to pay for another doctor because my ENTIRE body is shaking in pain because the doctor left before the office closed because she just had to start her weekend early!

I had a wisdom tooth pulled this week by Dr. Hutchinson and have to share what a pleasant experience it was.  I did not feel any pain, and I liked how thorough Dr. Hutchinson was in explaining what to expect before, during and after the procedure.  Dr. Hutchinson has been my family's dentist for several years and we could not be happier with his high level of care or services.  He is an excellent dentist and his staff is very skilled and friendly.  If you need a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Hutchinson and Florida Dental Centers.
