Pleasant surprise. Had been to hospital in years past to visit others or use ER. Dirty, poor service, staff uncaring.  You name it, this hospital was guilty of whatever is wrong in hospitals. In recent years i have heard  this hospital trying to reinvent self. They are succeeding. ER is state of the art. Staff professional  and they work together like a well oiled machine. Admitted for observation. Turn around continued on 3 Main. You could eat off the floors however  food still poor.  Also a negative is  double rooms which have been replaced in most hospitals with private accommodations.

I got vertical sleeve gastrectomy on 1/31/18. I have never gone to a hospital where I liked every single staff member. Everyone was wonderful, always in a good mood and so kind and caring! I want to give a special shoutout to my main nurse Nicole, she was always in a cheerful mood and even went above and beyond to give me more confidence in my goal of becoming a nurse one day! I ended up having to go back to the hospital a few days after my surgery because one of my incisions opened but even the ER staff were great. My nurse in the ER Shawn was funny and kind and he and my mom had great conversations about numerous subjects . Today, 2/11/17 I received a beautiful letter from the hospital, one of the messages in it was from my nurse Nicole! If I had known how wonderful everyone is at this hospital, I would've had my daughter here! Amazing hospital, truly!

My son was admitted to the pediatric floor after being seen in the ER for Vomiting and Dehydration. Our stay lasted two days.  All of the Nurses and doctors that saw our son were very kind and professional.  The room was clean and neat and the entire floor seemed to be well staffed and organized.  We were very satisfied with our care and I would recommend the pediatric floor and ER at this hospital any time.

The hospital is nice and the medical staff is great, but the lunch lady whos working now, on 3/6 @ 6:00PM, is terribly rude and brushes people off whithout even letting them finish their request. She literally said at 1 point that all we have up front is all they have. I picked up the garlic to put on this very doughy pizza and it was out. When i asked for more she said they were out. What!!!!

Florida Hospital Tampa is the best hospital around. The ER crew, CCU unit crew, and Dr. Allhassani saved my life back in July of 2016. I was diagnosed with TTP, and they started treatment very quickly and I responded remarkably well to it. The staff here is fantastic! After putting up with me, the worst patient ever, they really took care of me and got me home as out patient within a week. Thanks Florida Hospital Tampa!
