I found flowers by Von on the internet when desiring to send fresh flowers to my special lady friend in s.e. DC.  I live in Northern Michigan, and knew nothing about the D.C. area, but wanted "fresh flowers", hand delivered, with a personal touch.  Not a "non-personal" bunch of old withered flowers delivered in a box.  When I called and spoke with Von, that is exactly what I received.  She sounds like the most wonderful, sweet, Godly woman.  I have used her services multiple times---and she has come through each time!  She is my florist!  Wonderful Job!  I enjoy your professional, personal and prompt service.  I was just there over Christmas but didn't have your address.  On my next trip to D.C., I will be coming in to thank you personally and to thank you in person. I love sending flowers to the women in my life. I usually go through Proflowers, 1800flowers, etc...but this time I wasn't feeling spending over $20 for delivery charges. So, I decided to support a small business. I found Flowers by Von through word of mouth. I have to say, I love her personality, customer service and how welcoming she was. The prices were very reasonable and the delivery charge was great.  And for those things I give two stars. I have to admit I was disappointed with my mom's birthday flowers. It really didn't look like or close to the Deluxe flowers I ordered. And for that I only gave one star. I was really rooting for this florist and I might give them one more chance.

Horrible customer service from Evonne, i called to make a small complaint about how what my boyfriend ordered for our anniversary was NOT what was delivered. I received a "congratulations" balloon instead of "happy anniversary" like he ordered and when i mentioned it to EVONNE she was loud and rude and kept referring to me as "GIRL". Of course i was frustrated as well but i should not have gotten attitude in return. There was no apology of any sort. If you want your flowers delivered as a surprise make sure to put what part of the city they are for even if there is a zip code because they do not use gps or google apparently and will call you to find out where the location is although they have the FULL address and Name of the company. And the card messages are hand written in horrible handwriting its barely legible. The flowers are beautiful but the experience was horrible.

Flowers delivered same day ordered.  Easy to order.  Owner was very pleasant.  Arrangement was full. Flowers were fresh. Good value.  The receipent sent me a pic. I was pleased. I will place future orders with flowersbyvon.
