Excellent product selection for the area. Has in house bakery, deli, hot food bar, and fresh meat department with seafood. Prices can be higher than nearby competitors. Self checkout kiosks are painfully slow.

They are supposed to keep the express lane open at all times and I cannot count the times I have been in there and had to go to the regular checkouts, because it was closed. They keep saying that you can go thru the self checks but I refuse to use them. As high as groceries are, I expect to see a pleasant smiling face to check me out. If this happens again I will jus sit my few items down in the middle of the store express checkout and walk out of the store and go shop somewhere else.

They are more expensive than other stores. And you always have to use that stupid food city card. Looks like they would have an app by now.

After 12:30 you might as well throw everything on the hot bar away and put up a closed sign since the people behind the counter nest down at the cake decorating counter or are fumbling around in the back,and put anyone standing there expecting service on ignore.
