The Foothills Food Bank and Resource Center provides an emergency supply of food, referral information and financial assistance to individuals and families in the foothills area that are in a crisis situation.
The north valley is often thought of as an area of well-to-do communities with middle to upper class residents who are getting along just fine. Pleasant urban surroundings disguise the fact that many north valley residents are barely making ends meet.
The Foothills Food Bank quietly assists many families in Anthem, Black Canyon City, Carefree, Cave Creek, Desert Hills, New River, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Rio Verde and other north valley areas who are attempting to overcome financial challenges. A number of food bank clients in the past few months have been coming for the first time.
We are privately funded, and rely solely, on the donations and kindness of others to keep our organization running. Both food and monetary donations are always needed.
