Love this place, been several times. Always take out of town guests there. Fort is awesome, big spacious park. Walk by the river. Camp ground. Went to a camper rv show down by pool. Totally awesome.

It was really cool. I enjoyed walking around and looking at all of the olden days techniques. It would have a little bit better if they would have had a presentation on Daniel Boone. They have throwing axes that you can throw.

I'm from Ohio and we go to state parks all the time, but Kentucky has the best state parks by far! Love this park and campground! We went during the Halloween fest and there were tons activities and events. Our campsite was 147 and it worked out perfect having the camper parked at the top, it made the lower level our own secluded site hidden in the back looking over the Kentucky river. There was a small hill but it was worth it! Highly recommend camping here!

My son was in town with his wife and we travelled along with my two younger children to Natural Bridge in July of 2027. We had a great time, received a vigorous workout and it was a quality time adventure for everyone. Can't wait to do it again.

A good place to visit with your family. There is a camping area by the river as well. The fort is a recreation of the original. Parking can be an issue when there is an event. You can find some unique items to buy, thus some interesting gifts. I bought an old style brass compass there, then I took it to an engraver, and gave it to my daughter when she graduated high school. We have been to it many times over the years. On a personal note, the cenotaph in front of the fort, with the names of original settlers, include a grandfather ancestor of mine, as well as his brothers. I only came to understand that not too many years ago. So you never know.
