I'm a GREAT fan of the bus drivers.  They are all the best.  Their commitment to safety and customer service is amazing.

Sadly, the management stinks and they do not understand the needs of bus passengers and their required customers.

Management's support of the drivers stinks.  This is especially clear with route 8.  This route has some demographic issues and some riders are rude and disrespectful of the drivers and other passengers.  Sadly, management is unwilling to do anything about this.  Even when a driver was assaulted and had both ankles broken management apparently did not even pay for her trips to the doctor.

The large, articulated buses are a disaster.  More often than not one or more of them is broken down, management should have never purchased them .    They fail and they are not safe in ice and snow, to the degree that management even takes them off the road in bad weather.  These large buses are an environmental disaster most of the day/night.  Only grandstanding by management would cause them to run this huge devices, with the fuel guzzling engines and road damaging weight, when there are few riders.

Management has created a number of routes where it is almost impossible for the buses to be on-time but seems not to care, after all it is only passengers that are inconvenienced.  

Supervisors seem impervious to the fact that their vehicles are often unsafe.  Next time you see one after dark, look and see if the license plate and all other lights are working.

Management and supervisors stand around all the time and no one ever checks for passes/tickets on the MAX.  Why not have one of those supervisors ride the MAX and ask for tickets from time to time?
